Comic #17 (for your convenience)
So I'm a big fan of
Randy Newman. You might know him as the composer for movies such as Toy Story, and Monster's Inc., which may give the impression that he's a feelgood songwriter. However, the stuff of his that I like is all dark, sad, lonely, twisted, biting, and deeply satirical. My favorite album of his fifth, Good Old Boys.
But here's the weird thing. Harps and Angels is his latest album. The final and most popular song, "Feels Like Home," totally reminds me Pink Floyd's "Vera" from The Wall. Give 'em a listen and see if I'm just crazy.
