I nearly forgot to mention! On our trip to the Three Floyds brewery they had yet one more delicious beer that is worth mentioning specifically, so cool that it deserves its own post. What's it called?
HAM ON RYE
Indeed, this beer tastes profoundly like ham. A dark, savory beverage that's like drinking a ham sandwich from start to finish. No actual pig or animal products are in this beer, making it quite a delight for the nostalgic vegetarian or vegan. I had dreams once of making a breakfast beer that tasted like bacon and eggs... but this is so damn close it makes my heart go all-a-flutter.
